Girdharilal Bikaneri Papad (500g) is the classic Bikaneri papad — thin, hand-rolled, crisp discs that puff up perfectly on roasting or frying, made by Girdharilal Bhujiawale, Bikaner, since 1978. Palm oil free and hygienically packed, delivered fresh across India by BiteBasket.
Dal-chawal without papad is just incomplete. Girdharilal's Bikaneri Papad is rolled thin — the way it should be — so it roasts in seconds over a flame and fries up feather-light. Four decades of the same recipe means it behaves exactly the way your mother expects papad to behave.
Bikaneri papad isn't just a side dish — it's part of Rajasthan's culinary identity, loved far beyond India's borders. Girdharilal has made it the traditional way since 1978: quality dals, careful rolling, hygienic packing. Read about papadum on Wikipedia.
The 500g pack is also a thoughtful festive gift — crisp, traditional, loved by all ages. More from the maker: Girdharilal Bhujiawale collection.
